Beaches on the Costa Blanca

Types of Beaches and the Blue Flag Award

Blessed with so many beaches, those of the Costa Blanca are reputed to be among the best in Spain.  Here you will find a diverse choice from well known beaches to secluded coves and bays.  Many among these have been awarded the Blue Flag, an annual award presented by the European Federation of Environmental Education (EFEE)  in recognition of the beaches´  environmental conditions and services.

With so many beaches to chose from the Costa Blanca offers something for everyone.  If beach fun is for you the Costa Blanca has it all, from swimming, diving and sailing to windsurfing or para-gliding.  Or, if you prefer to relax after a hard night in one of the hundreds of restaurants, pubs and discos there are plenty of beaches and secluded coves, some for naturists, on which to stretch out.
